Manual removal of Tibbo software

Question: I am unable to uninstall Tibbo software. Each time I attempt to do so my PC hangs up (crashes).

Answer: We have had a number of support calls related to this issue. At the moment it appears that our software causes conflicts on certain XP systems and/or portables (from Compaq and HP). We are investigating this matter and welcome any input that will help us pinpoint the problem. In the meantime, if you have trouble uninstalling our software then you can do this manually. Here is what you need to do to manually clear our software off your system:

First, delete all related files:

Delete the following files:

1. remove the folder …/program files/tibbo (with all its files in it)
2. remove the file …/winnt/system32/tdstui32.cpl
3. remove the file …/winnt/system32/drivers/vspd.sys
4. remove the file …/winnt/system32/drivers/vspmon.sys
5. remove the file …/winnt/system32/drivers/kfc.sys
6. remove the file …/winnt/inf/vsp.inf

1. remove the folder …/program files/tibbo (with all its files in it)
2. remove the file …/windows/system/tdstui32.cpl
3. remove the file …/windows/system/vspd.vxd
4. remove the file …/windows/system/vspmon.vxd
5. remove the file …/windows/inf/vsp.inf

Next, clean the registry (this can be done with REGEDIT software):

Remove following items:

1. HKLM/Software/Tibbo *
2. HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/run/tibbo vsp mon
3. HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Uninstall/A4E05D-7F8C-42CB-9D98-C0D63D42D304
